The Bronx Defenders is a nonprofit public defender organization that is radically transforming how low-income people in the Bronx are represented in the justice system, and in doing so, is transforming the system itself. The organization defends nearly 20,000 Bronx residents each year using an innovative, nationally recognized model of holistic defense to achieve better outcomes in criminal, civil, child welfare, and immigration cases.
