Organization

The Erie County Assigned Counsel Program provides high-quality legal representation in both Criminal Courts and Family Court to all financially eligible persons in the county who are entitled by law to counsel, thereby protecting society’s interest in the fair administration of justice. The Program represents those who are unable to afford a lawyer in criminal, Family Court, parole-related, and appellate cases.
