Engage New York strengthens philanthropic coordination across the state by building a network of funders who support community organizations in developing a statewide civic engagement infrastructure that advances racial, economic, gender, and climate justice. The network creates the conditions for foundations across every region of the state to align and mobilize their financial and social capital in support of community-led change.

$100,000 • NYS Immigrant Power and Protection Fund

Supports a rapid-response pooled fund to strengthen statewide advocacy, direct services, and legal defense for non-citizen families across the state. Grants fund groups working to mitigate the impact of federal immigration enforcement that leads to unnecessary entry into the child welfare system.
