Black Families Love and Unite (B.L.U.) is a Bronx-based, survivor-led organization transforming the child welfare system through healing justice, community organizing, and reparative action. Rooted in lived experience, BLU builds collective power to dismantle  punitive systems and cultivate thriving, liberated communities.

Mobilize communities to build a reparations framework for families impacted by CPS interventions. Funded activities include a report and digital zine, community organizing, monthly teach-ins, talk-back sessions, and a somatic wellness workshop series for community organizers and system-impacted families.
